Well I've looked a little further down this rabbit hole and sure Thiel's company is involved in a small investment way with Discord, but it was Apple who has a big say/shareholders in asking? discord to make certain changes mostly to align with it's app store guidelines. Apple and Discord report that most users are won't be accessing age-restricted content. It seems the platform will be expanding the gaming/gamers aspect to, of course, make more money.

It looks like you started down the same rabbit hole as me with this. I have friends who game and I occasionally join them so have Discord. You can stream your monitor feed to each other along with VOIP, which makes team gaming more fun.

I'd also seen Peter Theil's name pop up with A.I. and also as you've post Anduril Industries which make A.I. powered drones and his connection to J.D. Vance, and I was surprised how much of of future tech he had his little fingers attached to with any real publicity. This made me wonder why he kept himself out the lime light
