How many more millions wasted in New York while the opposite is being achieved?

Do you understand the article..

Quote:De Blasio and ‘co-mayor’ wife have wasted $1.8B of taxpayer money
https://nypost.com/2019/02/28/de-blasio-...yer-money/

Fast-forward to Wednesday, when the City Council was startled to discover that McCray and Team Thrive are closing in on having spent an eye-popping $900 million since the program’s inception — and nobody seems to have a clue on what.
That is, nobody appears to have kept receipts; the subways and street corners are still overrun with crazy people, and nobody in charge knows what’s to happen next.

I am sure Trump will lavish more than that on Mamdani and NYC so all is forgotten.

The winds of change are coming.

It didn’t when 800 million was supposedly used for New York mental health care.

I think the winds of change was a slogan from the USSR.  The important part is sustainability.  Undoubtedly cities, states, and the federal government are already carrying debt it can’t sustain. The USA has been fleeced.

Newsflash: The average working man has always been fleeced.

Let's see how Mamdani gives those poor hairless sheeple the means to buy sweaters to keep warm during those cold winds that keep coming from those that always want more.

Sighs

There is no such thing as 'free' daycare.
Someone has to pay for it.
And since Mamdanis policies are unsustainable
he will be taking federal tax money to keep NYC running.
Which means that the farmer in Kansas will end up
paying taxes to sustain the 'free' daycare in NYC.
That's not fair.

Socialism and 'free stuff' always fail.   Always.

I am fairly confident that NYC gives more than it takes from the federal government.
Kansas folks rely or should I say them farmers rely more on China to sustain their wellbeing.

Not when Mamdani gets in.   His 'free stuff' has to be paid for by someone.   And he's already said he's going to be tapping the federal government for subsidies.    His policies are unsustainable.

If someone wants to have children and wants daycare then THEY pay for it.
It's not the responsibility of others to pay for the care of your children.
If you can't feed 'em then don't breed 'em.
That goes for daycare as well.

Everyone depends on everybody else or something else to keep the wheels greased, in good repair, and/or progressive for a city/society. When some people's wheels are greased just a little bit more than others then that's unfair. I was just reading about the history of NYC's playgrounds throughout the city. Guess which neighborhood playgrounds were better maintained? That's right, the rich ones were. That's another area where equality of money distribution needs to be righted.
