"ZARDOG'S ODYSSEY". A Single Sentance Story.

But hunger was beginning to get the better of him and all he could think about was green eggs and ham, but he didn't have any ham, so he substituted the ham with a can of Spam that he had acquired during the raid at the Elak factory.

But wait, rather than feast himself with delights he could use this rare Elak Spam as a lure to flush out that pig who sold him the defective gun.

After his moment of vanity he laid the ambush.

He wrapped the spam in a small towel and dropped it on the ground as if a traveller had lost it, uncovering itself in this process, naturally. The shining metallic glare of this much sought after Elak delicacy peeking was sure to be a sufficient lure. In lieu of using a trap or hilarious cartoon net, he crouched behind a bush, out of view, and waited for his target to walk along that trail.

Much to his surprise there was nobody walking the trail, it was the sound of a motor, a big motor, and he recognised the pitch of a Galaxian Hyperbike anywhere since his days hanging around the old arcade halls with "The Boys".

He sprung into action, diving into his utility belt and pulling out the first cord he could grab, it was black, just the right colour to use for garotting the culprit en-route to his own demise.

But his grip strength had been somewhat compromised due to an infected saber-toothed-sloth wrist bite that had occurred some days earlier which allowed the culprit to reach the galaxian hyperspace button on his galaxian hyperbike.

Damn that critter he thought, and resigned himself to the fact that revenge would come at a cost and was it worth the time and resources to track the signal and follow it into an oblivion of who knows where?

Sod it he thought, and saved the signal on file to come back to it another time while pondering his next move and where the hell he was going next.

Fortunately Zardog then experienced the most lucid dream he ever had riding an ostrich through a desert full of cheeky munchkins - he then realised what his sole purpose in life was.
