Hello all I started lurking on ATS around 9/11 just to figure out what was really going on. I can't thank the folks on that site enough for opening my eyes to the world around us. The woes that site has faced breaks my heart.

I'm here since ATS has been down for longer than I can remember ever having been before, enough to spook me into coming here. I do prefer the stark and purposeful layout of the old site but beggars can't choose I guess.

I come here indebted to you all for the knowledge and inspiration that you as a collective whole have shared with me. I will try my best to relay any knowledge or insights that I can in an attempt to start paying you all back. Thank you all

Glad you've joined us here at DI.

Sad to say, regarding ATS, the diagnosis is still up in the air, and the prognosis is very guarded.

ATS has my good will, it was the cradle of my experience with a robust community.

Many have come here as a refuge... many have opted to stay...

ATS' decline was like watching a loved one facing a terminal illness.

I'm here since ATS has been down for longer than I can remember ever having been before, enough to spook me into coming here.

ATS sustained a fatal amount of damage but imploded slowly.
