What would you say you do here?

Update:
Quote:All actions of the Department of Government Efficiency will be posted online for maximum transparency. Anytime the public thinks we are cutting something important or not cutting something wasteful, just let us know! We will also have a leaderboard for most insanely dumb spending of your tax dollars. This will be both extremely tragic and extremely entertaining

Well, at least it's going to be interactive.

Drain the swamp.. and also turn government spending into a Twitter poll... of mostly Republicans Trump voters.

I don't like going on X, or being prompted to create an account to read it, but this leader board seems like putting control in the hands of an echo chamber. With my type of opinion getting flamed to oblivion like a liberal in an ATS politics thread.

This is going to be supremely entertaining, and I look forward to what funding my state loses. I predict my state getting stuck with several big ugly disconnected high speed rail bridges through the heart of The San Joaquin Valley. And that's the Trump part of that state. But the bridges to nowhere will make for good mockery.

You just know "CA HIGH SPEED RAIL FUNDING" is getting bumped high up on that list by the owner of X, who will use his and Trump's social media website to let mostly their supporters decide how to spend the money.

I'm not sure how much they'll actually listen. The conservative echo chamber of X has already decided what programs to destransition and deregulate. So they can just say they listened, do the things they are going to do anyway, and it will be the same as listening.

They've told the people that will interact with this transparent department what it is they want funded and what they want burned on a pile of so much woke childrens literature and DEI mandate placards.

I know it will be a lot of ridiculous expired appropriations, but the up vote/down vote will retaliate against EVERYTHING progressive for the last 4 years. I'm not sure Musk will be on board with losing allocations for producing EV's, so some environmental programs that benefit Tesla will probably be fine.

It's imaginative and different. Conservatives and many independents will love it. Liberals are gonna lose it when the DoE gets axed over attempted woke indoctrination mandates.

I’m libertarian. I hate bot D & R fairly equally .

Bolton is illustrating why quite nicely.  Oh and the McConnell led Senate pushing Scott aside with secret ballots also illustrates well.

I do approve of this collection of disaffected former Democrats and Libertarians who ran as Republicans coalescing as Trumps cabinet to decimate the Federal government bureaucratic swamp.

This is first election I was able to vote to produce anything I’ve approved of… maybe in my Lifetime.

UPDATE

Trump is decimating whole agencies!

DoJ: Twitter thread, read the whole thread not just first post.
Quote:
Let me tell you what's REALLY happening behind closed doors at DOJ right now. 20+ career officials SIDELINED overnight. This is just the beginning...

The purge is hitting EVERY major division:
- Criminal Division
 - National Security
 - International Affairs

Here's the GENIUS part: They found a LOOPHOLE to make this stick. Federal regulations generally protect career employees from being reassigned for at least 120 days after new leadership takes over. But Pam Bondi hasn't been confirmed yet. The firings come from the ACTING AG

Christopher Wray? GONE

Paul Abbate? RETIRED

The people who weaponized law "enforcement" against half the country are falling like dominoes

DOE: Twitter post
Quote:BREAKING: The Department of Education has terminated its DEI Council, withdrawn its Equity Action Plan, canceled $2.6 million in DEI training contracts, and placed all DEI staffers on leave, effective immediately. They are laying siege to the institution—with more to come.
Feel free to post more as you find them!

FEMA: Twitter video
Quote:BREAKING: Trump just announced an executive order to REFORM or ELIMINATE FEMA: "I'll also be signing an executive order to begin the process of fundamentally reforming or maybe getting rid of FEMA. I think, frankly, FEMA is not good.“

- Closes DEI office & places all DEI staff on administrative leave, won’t allow them to take other roles
