They do not shapeshift. They alter our perceptions to perceive them as human. We are incredibly psychically vulnerable (think no firewalls). We were designed this way to be easily manipulated.

Not sure if this has been posted in this thread, I didnt read it all. I read once that if octopus had the same lifespan as humans, we wouldnt be the apex predator on the planet.

Great thread! There’s a book called The Octopus of Global Control, that’s worth checking out. It’s about the financial institutions, the octopus is symbolic of the tentacles being everywhere. That’s if memory serves.
But then there was a counter movement, “Octopi Wall Street” Seriously they are amazing creatures, but if they are colour blind, what’s the point in all their colourful displays and how do they even know to camouflage? I don’t get it. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
