As a boomer kid in the early 60s, before getting my first fedora hat, I wandered far from home, like 5 miles or so.
I was wearing a multi-colored horizontally striped shirt and kaki short pants with large pockets. We called them jungle pants because that's the sort of things we saw on Black and White TV movies about great white hunters and explorers.
Butch haircuts were still in fashion back then because they were the easiest and fastest haircuts to give with clippers. So yeah, no hat and very short hair is my appearance that day.
Anyways, the town I was born in had grown since the war. The one room school house had been abandoned in favor of multi campus elementary schools. But I knew where to find the derelict structure. Down where the old founders built it, before the town relocated to where the stage coach routes were easiest.
So here is what I found inside.

I think it may be classified as an important archeological find.
I took the picture but not the artifact itself because that would be stealing. No museum has offered money for the photo however. Too bad.
