The book of Genesis chapter 3.  The verses are short, for the most part only a sentence.  Keep in mind that the original creation of earth and humans was perfect.  Physical death was not a part of the plan.  This is why death is so difficult to process for us.

When Adam and Eve decided to follow Lucifer aka Satan, God supernaturally changed the earth’s atmosphere and the cells and organs of man and animals.  He also drastically changed the climate and soil composition.  It’s hard for comprehend what that would have been like as it happened instantaneously.

Suddenly the soil was no longer perfect which had made gardening a breeze.  Childbirth was to have been painless and perfect babies would have been born.

By altering the entire planet and taking away divine energy, cells and molecules changed which allowed diseases and deformities and eventually death.  That’s because free will also affected the very makeup of our bodies. 

I do believe His word and that His son, Jesus Christ is our salvation to be able to tolerate this fallen world and that the earth will be restored in the end.
