Vladimir Putin 'spits in Trump's face'

Why do you want the world to believe that you were "forced" into a war that you practically begged for?
Why do you claim to want to stop the war... and continue to wage it?
Why do you expect the rest of the planet to solve your problems?

How much money did you dump into this 'struggle for existence' which can only be measured in death and money?...

How can you win?   If you can't, why kill more people?

These questions lead to an inference ...
For these "celebrity" players....

"This war is about 'me' ... the "winner."

But but Max - Russian invaded a sovereign country totally unprovoked, its not a proxy war and there is no evidence of Ukrainian wrong doing whatsoever.
but but but
Thats all we need to focus on! lol

But, Ukraine gave up their Nukes for Russia giving a guarantee of their Sovereign security.

Which they reneged on and invaded.

But that's all NATOS and the West's fault.

You bang on about ancient history but conveniently ignore stuff like the Holodomor.

Telling...
'l'll just check my Giveashitometer....Nope.  Nothing...

Correct me if I am wrong, Your Grace, but we are discussing Russia's invasion of Ukraine and the reasons therefore?
Not Ukraine's many reasons for disliking Russia?

Lol For a moment you had me going... I thought I might have completely misspoken...

People are vested emotionally...

I keep reminding myself that this is like being neighbors with a fighting couple.

I don't want to know their lives, or endure their collective "dealing with it" crap...

I just want them to stop fighting.  It is a disturbance.

Problematically, the media thrives on turning every problem into a "show."
Enter 'fans of either side' to ensure that no one can ever be certain that they have the whole story.

It hearkens us to a different centuries-old antagonism... that seemingly won't be 'resolved.'
It's one of media's favorites... employs thousands to "comment" for them.
But I don't directly mention it, cause I really don't want to 'dance that dance.'

The dance continues.
I see the same 3 cheerleaders for continued war in the thread but seemingly as the only one playing to try and understand the mindset of both of the teams, I am getting very tired. Nuke em both from orbit how about that. Then monsanto can get both instead of just the Ukraine.

When i was a lad there was a game called "The Armageddon Man" that i seem to recall let you do exactly that.

I mean, if only it were that simple.

Obviously, that's frustration talking and not a real solution.

However, if we feel that way, imagine how those poor people feel?

And that's on both sides if we are honest.

Ending this mess requires clarity.

And the truth is.

The entire shebang is about as clear as mud.

"Yet so it is, we see the illiterate bulk of mankind that walk the high-road of plain common sense, and are governed by the dictates of nature, for the most part easy and undisturbed. To them nothing that is familiar appears unaccountable or difficult to comprehend."

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) has decided to accept for consideration Russia's counterclaims against Ukraine under the 1948 Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, rejecting Ukraine's objections to the inadmissibility of Russia's claims.
Ah, I can see we've discussed things enough that they've become as clear as mud and no one can know anything and truth is never certain and there's no use in even discussing it any more and who knows anything anyway so let's just give up.

Until tomorrow, that is, when Putin's outrageous and unilateral culpability will be clear as glass once again.

You understand the rules of the game!
I might add.. this is no one's game... which is why everyone wants a piece.

I honestly believe that the engagement began as middle-school bravado...

Russia and Ukraine 'talked themselves into' this war... (with some help.)
