US National Security Threat: Is this about one thing, or the other?
#1
I recently came across a few articles regarding what was called, by the House Intelligence Committee Chairman, a "serious national security threat."

Mind you, I am generally uninterested in "political theater," and this might well be just that.  However, on the off chance that the alarm is sincere and not another "tool" to promote "appearances," I wonder if anyone might feel compelled to comment and expand my understanding about some of this potential "news."

The reporting tells us that:

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Turner is urging President Biden to declassify information related to a "serious national security threat."

"Today, the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence has made available to all Members of Congress information concerning a serious national security threat," Turner, R-Ohio, said in a statement Wednesday.

"I am requesting that President Biden declassify all information relating to this threat so that Congress, the Administration, and our allies can openly discuss the actions necessary to respond to this threat," he added.

Source: Fox News

The reporter notes a coincidental piece of evidence they obtained; namely a "notice" which had been distributed to members of congress on Wednesday (Jan 31st?,) which suggested "an urgent matter with regard to a destabilizing foreign military capability that should be known by all Congressional Policy Makers."

My first intruding thought was... "wait... that little tidbit sat unreported for a week?"  It seems to me that the whole "urgent matter" was not reported until the Chair of the Intelligence Committee cried "Yo!  We can't ignore this!"  Is that right?  And he received it a week ago too.  And evidently recognized its apparent magnitude.

The National Security Advisor acknowledged, and apparently executed a personal briefing for the Committee Chairmen the very next day ... which must have been alarming enough justify this 'open call' request to the administration.

We could go all over the place with this since the 'cherry on top' phrase is "a destabilizing foreign military capabilitywhich might be meant to deter inference about exactly whose "destabilizing capability" he is concerned with, (let alone exactly what capability we are talking about.)

All in all, objectively speaking this is fear fodder.  Whether true or not, sounding alarm like this is supposed to present only when real threats are on the horizon, otherwise... what can it be....

Another one of his over-the-top promotions for foreign military aid?  (insert, the obligatory O'Jays tune herein)

In essence my question is this:

Would you bet that this purely A) political theatrics, or is it really a B) national threat?

Please indulge me, I know the purist answer is "yes" without specifying which...
but I wonder if this has political value alone, or is it true (prima facia, so to speak.)

(Also, can we expect to ever learn the truth either way, I wonder?)

Feels like foundation for future funding or action. Psyop territory.

But that's where we are now. Since trust in the government is at an all time low, where will be when the boy that cries wolf is finally telling the truth?

Freaking perilous times.

My guess , Russians want prepare for spring offensive by satellites that have capability to harm/destroy other satellites , and Elon Musk starlink at least comes to mind , but we dont even know what all satellites are up there  , helping Ukraine do we ?

We cant know for sure even starlink capabilitys, because Musk is hugely involved with DOD / pentagon ...and get`s also payed i suppose.

Cant rule out political theatrics totally out either .

I also think that if they would know about incoming catastrophe , like asteroid .....they would not say it , to avoid public panic . But this is not that case...but just saying ...us peasants dont need to know allways whats going on .

And yet this morning I read: Russian forces are buying up Elon Musk's Starlink satellite units from Arab countries in a bid to circumvent western sanctions, Ukraine intelligence claims

Shout out to searching411 who posted it here Sheriff addresses what he learned at conference

Except it seems, while important as an indicator of current events, doesn't seem a likely candidate as a "destabilizing foreign military capability"...

UNLESS it means that these people who entered our country under the pretense of 'escaping XXXXX (poverty/communism/violence/oppression et al.) are actually an organized effort being snuck in to cause danger to the nation itself.   We would have to accept that these 'potential' terrorist and provocateurs pose a threat to the national security apparatus, no? .... something to think about.

I find myself on your wavelength... it's precarious when we can't really discern pretense and theater from reality.

I had to think on this for a spell.

There is great theoretical potential in the idea of a threat in that domain.  But I can't reconcile attending facts about "Russia" and a threat of this kind.  Don't get me wrong, there is a hell of a lot wrong with their government (like there isn't with ours, right?)  But considering the general obsession of world leaders for that ephemeral thing they call "Winning!" ... how would Russia "win" this way?

Granted, they would (in theory) secure a means to ensure they enjoy a persistent presence on the internet (which is good for them.)  But it hardly seems to make for an announcement akin to "The sky is falling!" for the United States.

Or am I missing something in the equation?

And I think I have a purpose of this story about Russia. If a nuclear bomb goes off in the US, then all media fingers can point to this story and say it was Russia.

Let's say a false flag event is needed, then all you would need is a highly populated city to have the episode take place. 9/11, New York and DC. Now what if you want a massive distraction that could be used to suspend an election?

An atomic bomb can be brought into a city like LA California without much notice. I know people will say that radiation sensors will go off, but if this was done as a false flag and the Government is behind it, then who is going to report the radiation alarms to the public?

If a shipping container is dropped off in the city of LA and is holding a bomb with the same yield of the one used in WWII, then mostly just the city of LA will be wiped out and the out laying areas will just be damaged and irradiated. The public mind set will be out for blood against the nation behind the attack. The media won't look at facts, instead they will push out the story that a missile from a Russian satellite is to blame. Hell, with a large amount of radio broadcasting companies having to answer to Alex Soros now, one can guess how that story will play out.

When you read this "Russian" story, the "pee-tapes" sound more possible than what is being pushed out there on this. Russia doesn't have any reason to attack the US, there are cheaper ways of removing enemy satellites than tossing nukes into space, and most importantly why would the White House not declassify legitimate reports that can paint Russia as being the baddies. Nothing in this story adds up except as a precursor to a massive false flag.

I'm going to stand on this point, "I think this is a play up to a massive false flag event".

It`s too much to ask Russians to be rational in a sense that they would act only in a way that has beneficial outcomes to themselves. Even the old USSR was more rational than what Russia is now , they are openly bragging about destroying other countries ....they are even proud about this side of their nationatily /psyche ....." We are Russians, we destroy , kill , it is our mission "

A compilation of Russian propaganda threats to destroy other countries. Was your country mentioned?

Ok back to space ....

Threats In Space “Extremely Concerning”: Space Force Boss

I dont see the logic using nukes in space since it would harm also Russian and Chinese space satellites also.

But i am guessing , i dont know any more than you what`s going on
