Dr Hynek apparently once quipped to Jacques Vallee that 'UFOs may originate from a universe fifteen minutes into our future' and whilst it's thought he was only joking I did find it pretty surprising just how much research has already been conducted (and literature written) on the 'UFO/Time' subject - below are some relevant videos, interviews, articles and documents and also a really interesting quote from Norio that kicked off the idea for the thread in the first place.
Thought Tim Swartz's article below was a good intro and brought up a few very intriguing points about the subject - there's also further reading found at the link concerning the Oz factor and vehicle EM interference cases.

This 'Sightings' clip about Michio Kaku's time travel theories also features a rare appearance by the late Marc Davenport who makes some mighty interesting comments about the UFO subject taken from his book 'Visitors from time'.

Ha, Norio Hayakawa. I have emailed him several times over the years and he did respond. I do know that he was thinking of joining ATS several years ago. I have no idea if he did and / or what screen name.

Yes mate used to be a member with Norio years ago on another forum (now defunct) and whilst certainly not seeing eye to eye with him on everything I did respect some of his ideas - especially the paraphysical aspect.
Suppose it all sounds a bit bonkers to someone outside UFO research but suppose it's also fair to say that material reductionist science may not fully understand what 'time' or (or 'consciousness') really is.
Anyway there's another strange time anomaly case here from August 27th, 1979 where Police Officer Val Johnson witnessed a UFO descend on his car causing him lose consciousness- it's weird because the patrol car clock and the officer's wristwatch both lost 14 minutes.
Also another freaky example below from England and would really recommend the news-clipping archive linked below if you've not seen it before.
Quote:Salesman Alan Cave claims he became a time traveler the day he spotted a strange orange cloud.
For as he drove under the mysterious object in the sky, Alan says his milometer, his watch and a digital pen all moved... BACKWARDS.
Yesterday he told of his close encounter on the A46 between Bath and Stroud.
“It was exactly 11 o’clock when I glanced at my watch and it said eight o’clock. My digital pen said nine.
“Both were right when I set out.
“Then the speedo started going back – it was weird. It lost 300 miles, though a mechanic had since told me it’s impossible.”
Alan, 45, of Dorchester Road, Tauton, Somerset, doesn’t believe in flying saucers.
“But something very odd occurred in those few seconds – and I wouldn’t like it to happen again.”

I agree exactly as your opinion on Norio. At least he does help! What you provided is deep but I have to leave and get back to it later.
Sam, our 20 year old cat died on Thursday night. We will bury him today and I need to dig the rest of the grave in our yard. IMO they are just like family when they have been with us that long. Sheet. See you later!

I offer condolences for the passing of Sam...
Pet's blur the line between friends and family... making it all the clearer that we love and value them well...
He's in kitty heaven now, chasing butterflies and basking in the sun.

Yes would like to echo Maxmar's comments there mate - condolences on the loss of your cat and couldn't agree more about pets being part of the family.
Here's another bizarre one reported from Missouri back in 1984.
Quote:Springfield, Missouri - April, 1984.
"Several head of cattle graze on the property; there have been recent attempts at rustling. The caretaker calls his wife on the citizens band radio in his truck. She is at their home on the property. A friend of hers is visiting. The caretaker says he is going to check out this suspicious occurrence.
He drives toward the lights. He comes to the end of a dirt road in front of a deep ravine, near the spot where he saw the lights.
That is all he remembers.
There is a 10 minute gap in the report. No radio contact. Nothing. Except that, somehow, the caretaker finds himself on the other side of the normally impassable ravine.
He calls his wife for help. “Where are you?” she asks. “I don’t know,” he responds.
His truck won’t start, the lights won’t work, he feels disoriented. When he finally returns to the house, his wife and her friend notice that his battery powered watch is running 12 minutes slow. The next day, he will have to replace the alternator and the regulator in his truck. Both have been burned out.
What is the caretaker’s opinion of what happened? “He doesn’t have one,” Mrs. Becker says. “He knows something unusual happened to him, but he’s not sure what.”
