Trump will 'take a look' at pardoning Ghislaine Maxwell

Trump won’t, there’s no win in that.
Trump didn’t say he would pardon her.
Trump didn’t say he would look at pardoning her either.

This whole thread is just another lazy Trump bashing thread but it needed a little perspective for the libs who are pretending they care about trafficking, kids, or SA.

A simple no would have been better. But he didn’t say no, instead he said he’d have to take a look at it, and that he wouldn’t consider it or not consider.

He would take a look at it, in the context of IT being ‘the Court not looking at her appeal.’

Also, “I wouldn’t consider it” seems pretty straightforward that he won’t pardon her (because there’s no win in it) and the rest is trolling libs which I figured yall would recognize by now.

I would consider it would be straight forward if you didn’t instantly nullify it by saying or not consider.

I don’t see how any of this could be “trolling libs”. There’s a lot of people who aren’t liberal that don’t like the concept of this. I would hope that a human or patriot wouldn’t want such a failure of justice straight from the White House.

Aside from that, I’ve lost count on how many times people have said “he’s just trolling, he won’t do that” and then he does it. The goal posts just keep moving. He’s proven that even the constitution doesn’t apply to him, so why should we assume he wouldn’t be above something like this?

I can appreciate why people find it refreshing that Trump sticks it to people (albeit selectively) in politics after we've had horrible admins who were lying and condescending. 

That said, it doesn't work in politics like it does in business. If you're the CEO of a company, you can just fire everyone who doesn't fall in line. In politics and government, you can't fire elected officials, you have to win them over and lead them.

When Trump won the first term, he could have dialed down his style, and had a chance to bring people together, hell, even his own party since they had house and senate. In the first two years, they spun their tires, and debt increased at the same rate as Obama. Then COVID came, and he got a record one term deficit for recent history.

What are we doing now? Is it coming down? No. So one of the biggest threats to our country, and instead people are just happy he's trolling people by not saying no to pardoning her (after he told reporters he has the right two a month or two ago).

Very little has made it through congress. And the tariffs have been deemed unconstitutional, because Trump doesn't have the power to implement tariffs to the whole planet. If SCOTUS upholds that ruling, the BBB is going to murder us economically without the tariffs to offset it. That's failed leadership right there, they could have put it through congress but instead he wanted to be the one running the show.

Using private communication instead of government communication, check. (This used to be an offense they wanted people jailed for)

Having people in the family benefit from foreign policy, check.

Putting pressure on social media companies to censor, check.

Using power to actually go against freedom of speech, check.

Trying to expand executive power, check.

Reckless spending increasing the deficit, check.

And he has a few executive orders that go against the constitution to boot. He's the same as the rest of them.
