From my observation 

People who are exceedingly loyal to Trump

Just like people who are exceedingly loyal to Biden or Obama or the Clintons

Or any 'cult of personality'

Have no vested interest in standing for truth or fighting for truth

They've compromised their integrity to idolize a caricature

They will lie without batting an eye

If it means they get a head pat for defending "mommy" or "daddy"

If the files really do expose people at the highest levels, it makes sense why there's such resistance.

But it does not explain Trump's obscurification or seeming unwillingness to be completely transparent unless he's part of the problem.

Lots of evidence has shown Trump "partied" with lots of under-age girls, whilst in the company of Epstein. also his call-ins to the Howard Stern Show are very telling. Many of Trumps pageants were for up and coming models of the younger age (14 to 16). Most may be circumstantial evidence, but people are found guilty on less.

The piece goes on to describe Trump hosting “a party at Mar-a-Lago for young women in a so-called calendar girl competition, Mr. Epstein was the only other guest.”

“Mr. Houraney recalled being surprised that Mr. Epstein was the only other person on the guest list,” it states.

Trump told reporters earlier on Tuesday that Epstein "stole" Virginia Giuffre from him when she was employed at Mar-a-Lago. That claim could backfire on Trump because it shows that he knew one of the central victims in the prosecution of Ghislaine Maxwell, according to Ryan Goodman, a law professor at New York University.

 
Goodman pointed to Maxwell's 2022 sentencing, where the judge enhanced her sentence to 20 years because of Giuffre's testimony.
