Tell me how it's working for those people who don't want to be under the boot of Putin?? His little operation was supposed to be over in a week, here we are 3 1\2 years later and the brave Ukrainians are still fighting for their country and freedom.

Where I think Putin knew that the response from Europe was going to be what Putin considered weak.  Talk about not understanding appeasement vs actual deterrence.  While Europe was slow to get off cheap Russia energy.
