Astonishing, breathtakingly astonishing. I'm sorry Ignorant, you are so far out of your depth here, I would probably do some research before you continue posting here. Hopefully somebody else has the time and patience to help you out, sorry I don't have either at the moment.

if you’ve been following this situation since 2010, much less the 2014 Maidan and Crimea etc, and still  don’t get it then no one can help you here.

if you don’t really know what’s going on then just say it.

Rather than just give you a thumbs up and like, I have to say 'bravo' to this post. It's an unfortunate consequence of talking to folk on the Internet who were metaphorically speaking, 'born just yesterday', chiming in with opinions before they've developed a deeper understanding of the subject at hand.

No he didn't.  He's in the midst of negotiations.
To expect a ceasefire after one 3 hour meeting with one side is absurd.
I don't like the guy either but comeon ....

Reporters asked Trump if Zelensky must meet with Putin before his own meeting with Putin. Trump responded, “No.”

Should be good.

Well, that appears to have gone down like a lead balloon.

Looks like Trump can't stop wars with the snap of a claw in 24 hours or in Alaska.

Go figure.

Thanks for your enlightening contribution

So what did they achieve?

No formal agreement or ceasefire was reached.

And despite both leaders calling the talks "productive," there were no concrete outcomes regarding the war.

"heavy on diplomacy theater and light on meaningful progress."

Trump wants it done and nothing the EU has done has been helpful in that vein. Especially those from your country old chap...I mean carpy. Not only that but Trump...your mortal enemy it seems has made history today in one of the strongest displays of power towards Russia there has been since WWII...literally flying a B2 over the man flanked by F22s escorted by F35s.

I know it gurts to admit you have been wrong...but jesus dude...you are one of us...don't wreck your credibility over something so silly...

Exactly, what was on display was the prowess and the production of the American military industry complex.Uncle Sam's MIC/Trump illustrated overwhelmingly to Putin that we can continue this proxy war, spending cash or we can do business together and make cash; either way, Uncle Sam will profit more than Russia. NATO seems fully prepared to finance the war for now, as well as pump up thier military. In 2 years the big 4 Europe/UK NATO members will be enough to stop further Russian expansion withoutthe US. Stop the killing, stop the spending, and let's do trade deals and support our country's industries, etc., or we can continue this while China gets stronger.

And the military-industrial complex goes ka-ching, ka-ching, all the way to the bank.

Well, nothing new on that score, i suppose.

They will always have money for war.

They are apt to run out of people first.

Trump is a joke and I keep seeing comments that mimick what has been said all along. Russia won't negotiate as many have said for a long time.
How many hours has it been since his 24hr claim? How many believed that line or horse shit?
Now he can throw a tantrum and utilize his newly founded reaction force to stop all those fussy Democrats from doing some protests.
How some don't see what is going on is beyond me.

This is what Dwight warned America and the world about, and what John and Robert were killed over.
