We've already given the background tens of times. Certain factions prefer the only recent black and white version in which Russia is an unprovoked villain and Ukraine is a pure snow white victim, and the USA is not involved at all, except in an inconsequential commercial way with oil companies but nothing important.

Getting rid of Pro Russian, massively corrupt, protester murdering Yanukovych when the people wanted pro Europe not going back to a Soviet style vassal state was a bad thing, how?
