If the two cheaters had just waved at the camera when it was on them .. and not ducked and covered up .. no one would have paid attention.   Their guilty behavior is what made this take off in the media.

Alex Jones, manipulated the image and used it to push a political narrative. So it wasn't me that started this. I'm sure you watch Jones of Alex. He made it political so go make fun of his mental gymnastics.

What I said is true ... foreigners are really into American politics and celebrities.
It's like they dont' have any of their own to talk about.
And I'm wondering if this Kiss-Cam thing is a 'thing' overseas like it is  here.

That's not true. The threads here are foreign-thread bare and we like to discuss current events. We have opinions just like everybody else here no matter where they hail.

That cheater's wife changed her hyphenated name on social media sites, dropping his surname. She did this immediately.

Reminds me of Trump having to hire Melania lookalikes...because.

Yep.  It's on the News here.

US celebrities are news all over the World.

We have plenty of our own, too.

The public shaming and groveling in this case were well earned and it's not completely unrecoverable either. People are very forgiving especially when someone has the courage to stand up and own their mistake and learn from them.

That's a riot.   Lol
I wonder if the cheaters know they got world wide attention.
(and not in a good way)
I wonder if they care.
They obvious have no self respect.

"he did not reflect the values of the company"

This.  This is what I thought when I saw the clip.   If they'd both not freaked out, the camera would have moved on and likely nobody would have singled them out.   Previous people highlighted on the Jumbo Tron at the concert were only in the spotlight for a few moments.

I can't take a high moral ground with this.  I've never cheated on my Darlin', in the whole 40 years we've been together, and she hasn't cheated on me.   I've done things that I consider worse, for which I have to live with.    I think the degree of attention this gets is akin to an adult version of neeener neener, or dancing and pointing at person who embarrassed themselves.   What I dislike most of all is the glee for which some "newsish" outlets present the video and then talk about it as though they themselves have never made a mistake, never committed an act which they considered a personal sin.  Me, I'm uncomfortable around perfect people.

I once skipped out of work without telling anyone, and went to an A's baseball game, sat up in the nosebleed seats, ate hot dogs and drank lots of beer and had a great day.   If I had been caught, I'd likely have been fired.   I just had one of those IDGAF days, and turned and walked out the door and took BART to the game.   Perfect day.   Because I wasn't there, my division couldn't answer questions from our superiors, who were being pressured by our client.  We just had one and the client was important.  Because of me, our division suffered, and I was the shitheel who let it happen.   Two days later,  my boss stood in the doorway and said -- in front of several of my coworkers -- "I just want to know.  Was it worth it?"   I stood up and said that if the consequence had reflected completely on my shoulders, it would have been worth it, but since it adversely affected the team, it wasn't worth it.   He said, "Good.  That's the right answer.   You're fired."   Selah.

Thus, I believe that while various things and people and situations beyond our control can adversely affect us, our situation and life is entirely our responsibility.

Well said.

I have more respect for them that they showed their shame.
It’s more difficult to forgive a shameless unremorseful person.
