Big... BIG... structures in space!

Largest object in universe... the Quipu superstructure

[LLM output]

The Quipu superstructure is the largest cosmic structure discovered to date, spanning more than 400 megaparsecs, which is over 1.3 billion light-years.
It contains about 2 × 10^17 solar masses and is named after the recording devices made of knotted cords used by the Inca civilization.
Quipu is significant because it challenges current cosmological models and could provide insights into galaxy formation and the expansion rate of the universe.
The superstructure's gravitational effects may distort the cosmic microwave background radiation, potentially leading to revised measurements of the Hubble constant.

This collection of matter is too large for me to comprehend easily.

(From ArXiV.org: Unveiling the largest structures in the nearby Universe: Discovery of the Quipu superstructure)

This entity, which we named Quipu, is the largest cosmic structure discovered to date. These superstructures contain about 45% of the galaxy clusters, 30% of the galaxies, 25% of the matter, and occupy a volume fraction of 13%, thus constituting a major part of the Universe. The galaxy density is enhanced in the environment of superstructures out to larger distances from the nearest member clusters compared to the outskirts of clusters in the field.

From UniverseToday.com: Astronomers Find the Largest Structure in the Universe and Name it “Quipu”

Astronomers have found the largest structure in the Universe so far, named Quipu after an Incan measuring system. It contains a shocking 200 quadrillion solar masses.

Astronomy is an endeavour where extremely large numbers are a part of daily discourse. But even in astronomy, 200 quadrillion is a number so large it’s rarely encountered. And if Quipu’s extremely large mass doesn’t garner attention, its size surely does. The object, called a superstructure, is more than 400 megaparsecs long. That’s more than 1.3 billion light-years.

A structure that large simply has to affect its surroundings, and understanding those effects is critical to understanding the cosmos. According to new research, studying Quipu and its brethren can help us understand how galaxies evolve, help us improve our cosmological models, and improve the accuracy of our cosmological measurements.

I can't imagine how those pesky inconsistencies in some cosmological "constants" may be remedied (or exacerbated) by applying newly recognized factors about mega objects in the cosmos.

The great cosmic entity. Wonder if it has a immune system and what would happen if we triggered it.

"An Enormous, Branching String of Galaxy Clusters Is the Largest Known Structure in the Universe, Scientists Say"

I sure wish that those in charge of Earth would admit that ET is alive and well among us and in the skies. Possibly the Trump administraton will force it to the surface. That "man" was made in his image as he previously created ET along with the dinosaurs. This could be his cosmic restroom.
