The tide turns against the "special military operation"

The Trends Behind Russia’s Growing Logistical Nightmare in Ukraine
Drones by the thousands are crippling Putin's war machine and supply lines. This data is from Ukraine MoD  official sources, but anecdotal evidence confirms the trend.

The title chart illustrates the exponential rise in Ukrainian drone attacks against Russia’s increasingly beleaguered logistical supply vehicles, particularly in the last few months, and why they may be nearing a state of collapse in their ability to sustain military operations in the not-too-distant future.

When Trump cutoff the money, the leash came off with it.....By stripping away America's grip over Kyiv, the president handed Ukraine the freedom to take the war to Russia.

With any luck these trends will continue and force a path to peace and the end of the evil Putin regime.

The movie Barb Wire called the future of drone warfare back in 96.

"Guess you didn't hear. A Congressional smart grenade. It followed me to my foxhole. I thought I'd dug it deep enough. I guess I didn't."

right. Meanwhile in the civilian world ...

Well, citizens  in the Capital were not  happy recently.

In Kryvyi Rih, a single father was mobilized while his 5-year-old daughter was at kindergarten – the ombudsman initiated an investigation of the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Centre

The Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights of Ukraine, Dmytro Lubinets, reported a case of mobilization of a 34-year-old man in Kryvyi Rih, who, according to preliminary data, was raising his 5-year-old daughter alone after a divorce.

At the time of mobilization, the child was at kindergarten and was effectively left without parental care. According to the director of the institution, the father was fully responsible for raising and daily needs of the child, and after his absence, the girl was left under the care of a third party — the head of the institution.
According to available information, the man applied twice for a deferment from conscription but was denied. The circumstances of his family status and the grounds for the decisions are currently being investigated.
I don't believe actions like these are going to help Zelensky secure a good future for Ukraine. The poor girl will probably be trafficked into Europe if she does not get some kind of assistance.

Thats most likely true.

I also believe if the Russian people were to start rioting.

And rise up against the warmongering piece of scum, Putin, for similar reasons.

It may not bode well for him, his regime, or his invasion of Ukraine...

Non-nuclear wars end when citizens of the warring countries hold the leaders accountable for the death, destruction and misery war brings home. Both sides in this conflict know this and are taking the war to the citizens. I am afraid the sad stories are far from over.

I doubt they will.  Putin would simply send military or mercenary forces after them.  He's not afraid to use tanks against his people, IMHO.

I strongly suspect you're not wrong there.

Remember when he had the mother of a submariner.

Screaming to know the fate of her son.

Injected with a sedative when the Kursk went down.

He showed his true colours back then.

He would slaughter the lot of them to keep himself in power, or at least try...
