Day 2 has started.
I tried to go outside to kill a bear to feed my family and to provide good skins for warmth, but the only thing I could find was a bagel. It was toasted though with onion and chives cream cheese.
My struggles continue.

Thoughts and prayers

I always found that whiskey and BBQ works wonders.
Or, whiskey and bacon.
Or, whiskey and soda hold the soda.
Or, whiskey......

My sister and I were feeling crappy stuffy nose scratchy throat, a few weeks ago and have been wanting to try this recipe.
I scaled it down by half.... it helped both the sinuses and throat, but I wouldn't recommend it on an empty stomach
I threw it all in my ninja and while it calls for straining,
I just drink a shot glass of the slurry mixture... definitely helps the symptoms, my sister mixes it with tea and honey.
I was sure she would have to go to the doctor, but she didn't, and we both are mucho better
Quote:Fire Cider RecipeIngredients- Start with a quart (4 cups) of raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar (at least 5% acidity)

- Half a dozen cloves of minced garlic
- 1/2 cup peeled and diced onion
- 1 or 2 habanero chilis, split in half (or, use cayenne pepper)
- One large lemon, sliced rind and all (optional)
- 2 tablespoons chopped rosemary (or 1 teaspoon dried)

If you make it a habit to drink that whenever you are sick, it will certainly encourage feeling better quickly.

It will put hair on your chest and stop the coughing and sinus blockage big time, and those blockages elsewhere, it will help that too

I'm sticking with mustard poultices, drinking mead from the skulls of my vanquished enemies, and Alka-Seltzer cold plus.
Oh and hot tea.

Everyone has to find their own way...the cough and sinuses are what make me keep trying different methods
