The Mandela Effect
There is evidence that Mandela Effect is the side effect of a mass psychological experiment involving alternate timelines being created using technology like CERN/hadron colliders.
The easiest way to see which timeline took 'hold' is to use public figures, specifically their deaths, and in one timeline they are dead and in another one they are not.
These would be figures known to most people on the planet, who died in one timeline but did not in another.
This ties into the mass consensus and observer effects , as well .  . .
If we are to entertain a theory regarding technological timeline 'drifting,' I hope someone can also share their research on the "not so talked about" Montauk Project "chair".

It was the first rumored device that actually did this... dipping in and out of timelines ... in theory.

Associated lore speaks of "Junior" a creature accidentally "here" now.... looks like a giant hairy man-like thing, the "disappearing/reappearing" beer can... the 'loss' of staff... and more...

I am not the expert we'd need....

Mandela's may not be as new as we might think... it appears not to be simply "media" evidence-driven.

I actually have all of the Sky Books that the Montauk Project and other books in the 'series' were published on. I really enjoy them and there is always something new to glean from them years later.
The structure of the research is not just traditional interviews and evidence, it is also spiritual and synchronicity based.
The Montauk chair was definitely highly experimental, it was not controlled time travel at all.
It was largely psychic and emotional, using electronic 'boosters.'  Also the occupant of the chair besides needing to be highly spiritually or at least psychically sensitive, if I recall correctly they also neede to have specific blood types and genetic markers.

This back in the 80s, very haphazard.

Now fast forwarding 40 years later, I think the use of technology for creation of various timelines, is far more controlled and nuanced. Not to mention, more 'quantum science and physics' based and less 'emotional intention spiritual will' based. Although they of course intersect.

If that makes sense!
But I thank you for placing the device in it's perspective... in regards to ideas... I clearly stalled at the idea of 'controlling movement' through time and space.
Oh no what happened to low-effort Thanksgiving and:

Stouffer's Stove Top Stuffing

it is now "Kraft Stove Top Stuffing" and that just doesn't sound right!

And it never was Stouffer's!
Following on the low-effort Thanksgiving theme:

Remember when these were called "Cup O' Noodles", rather than "Cup Noodles"?

No, they've always been "Cup Noodles"!

WOW! I remember non stop TV ads for "Stouffer's" brand, and I just looked it up with AI assist search and it says it never was a real product, that people are having false memories !!  Ridiculous because I know for a fact it was always Stouffer's. Got tired of seeing the ads on TV back when we didn't even have cable, just antenna television. :)
What shocks me is AI search with this question was Stouffer's a real product it says absolutely not, just a false memory.

There was never a logo on the front of Stove Top boxes.

This one I dont buy.  It just looks like it should be a Stouffer's product.  But Kraft did buy it from General Foods.

I'm pretty sure it was covered on The Thanksgiving episode of The Food That Built America.

AND IT WAS Cup O Noodles.

Bullshit!

Our memories won't be denied of 'Stouffers stove top stuffing'. It truly was a catchy phrase. I should know because the marketing is genius. I have created many catch phrases for my company.

Quite interesting that there was an autofill for Stouffer's..........
I asked three other people I know, and they all remember Stouffer’s Stove Top Stuffing... , and I do too. They couldn’t believe it when I told them it was actually made by Kraft.

Mind blown!  Shocked2
