But was it always Osarka and the last 'a' was ignored? Like your genus which could have been misinterpreted as genius when one isn't paying attention?

I love that you noticed that. I wasn't sure anyone would.

Oh yeah, I pay attention because you know what happens if I don't.

Or do you? Maybe it's all the Mandela Effect for some and not for others here?

I think the perception of the phenomenon is not coherently laid out.
That while everyone's particular formulations of why maybe similarly aligned, no one has determined if there is a metric to this... internal perception is difficult to corral into a concept of framework because it is specifically a phenomenon that steps "outside" the framework within the perception.
All I can say about the "I do." comment was that I have made a discovery....
Everything in my life that has been "the worst thing to happen" to me share one element...
I wasn't paying attention.

Here is a new one for me.
Lyme Disease. The disease you can get from these creepy things:
Is it curable?
Why, yes it is. Completely curable, with a simple course of antibiotics.
And it always has been.

But, but, I heard it was the inspiration for "the Stand"... you know, the whole thing about nefarious "scientific" research that spawns a biological apocalypse, and we are all living in "Thunderdome."
Activism is poison to science.
I am not a peer of theirs, I don't get the value judgment of such 'experiments' being "worth it."
But then revenue streams, commerce opportunity, and money hoarding aren't my chosen hobbies.
Lyme disease is not satan's plague.
(Although you must accept that there have been those who want it to be the case. They will harden any disease they believe can decimate a population... "it's not they want to" ... but they nevertheless will.

I have strong memories from, oh say 15 or 20 years ago, of hearing that Lyme Disease was "not curable". But, now it suddenly is, easily, and has been all along.

This is one of those Orwelian nightmare scenarios...
.... " and the record will show that it was never incurable."
C for delivery, B for effort.
End of story.... add this to it.... "It's all water under the bridge [so adjudicated]... now onto our next "plan."
