The "John Titor" story is one of the internet's most famous mysteries from the early 2000s.

For those that dont know, Titor appeared on the forums around 2000–2001 claiming to be a time traveler from 2036.

He said he was sent back to retrieve an IBM 5100 Portable Computer because it had a hidden ability to debug legacy systems.

Supposedly crucial for fixing future computing problems.

I don't get what you are trying to relay. In any timeline before 2036 and at or after 2015, 2015 historical facts would not change.

Just playing devil's advocate and pointing out he may have got the dates mixed up, or we are late...

I mean, buddy, if we are going to entertain the, for all intents and purposes, rather complex conspiracy.

There are plenty of other things that he predicted that never came to pass, a Civil War being the most pertinent.

Nevertheless, i always found Titor's tale to be rather fascinating.

There are plenty of other things that he predicted that never came to pass, a Civil War being the most pertinent.

Nevertheless, i always found Titor's tale to be rather fascinating.

I mean if you want to get into a conspiracy or speculation, then maybe as he time travelled back, he may have opened portals to different multi-universes/dimensions of our Earth and maybe he just went through a different door, therefore a different timeline. Titor's efforts may have been in vain if he didn't time land back on his specific multi-universe/dimensional Earth.

What if Titor was in fact true. TPTB would also have known about his predictions and the reason for Civil war then WWIII. So just maybe, TPTB managed to delay events, that regardless of their efforts might just still unfold.
Like reading tarrot cards or even tea leaves, you can be told what will happen (Titor) but you therefore have the knowledge to do what you will to stop, delay or even prevent said outcome.

The problem I have with that is that he came from 2036 stating historical facts that were his reality in 2036. Coming back and no matter anyone's attempts at changing the historical events timeline, he still has his historical realities from 2036.

It is John Titor as a stand up comic in 2019, so it is plausible. Also plausible because he sort of has the Harpo look that he could have adopted from that movie.
