I thought I'd put this here - I've just found out about The Marion Stokes Collection on the Internet Archive. She taped (VHS and Betamax), everything from TV, between 1977 and 2012.
yes read that again, everything on tv. for 35 years. recorded, 24/7. She stopped when she died, in 2012. Her son donated the entire collection to the Internet Archive. She wanted the news shows, but also taped things like The Cosby Show, Oprah Winfrey, Star Trek etc.
I've just found an interview, on a news show, where Donald Trump is interviewed about him buying a US Football team, and signing a $40m deal for a 22 year old. very interesting stuff.
This one is 6 hours of The Cosby Show - the adverts at the start are interesting enough!
