In case your wondering about the Scientology thing, watch Mr. Atheist (an exmormon) interview an ex-Scientologist. Not an Atheist myself but it's very interesting.

I am an atheist. Well, Spiritual Atheist. Will watch it later.

I have read up on Scientology (in the past) — it was created by a Sci Fi writer.

I happen to have been explained to by my dad (not a Mormon) that when Jimmy Carter started taking away the tax exempt status of racist churches,  that the Mormon Leadership went inside the temple and prayed for a very long time and came out and said "God changed his mind on Black People,"  This was due to not only Jimmy Carter but Mitt Romney's father doing some internal arm twisting i would later learn.

In my opinion a lot of Christian Churchs in general are just about money and the Mormons don't strike me as that different except for believing God is on another planet and having some early UFO aspects going on.

As a philosopher i have little actual disagreement with Jesus,  just I don't believe he was a god, I believe he was a jewish philosopher who was heavily elevated by his followers after his death.

In otherwards to quote Fredrick Neichze, "The only true Christian died on the cross!"

I was a senior in high school when the Civil Rights Act was passed. It is, sadly, part of our current modern history. Many organizations have evolved from their prejudice past.

At least Mormons had a documented reason. What about all the other white churches that just denied admittance.

Jesus/Yeshua was a very common name. There is no written documentation from the time he is said to have lived that “biblical Jesus” existed.
