It makes me think about what we would presume about an alien with that face...

It's a hard image.. the face of the ant.

It doesn't change... it's essentially an armor plate, with an eye that is all surface.  Those hairy things around its' mouth look like fangs...

We would think it an unfeeling thing... like a robot.

But I know that they are hypersensitive to touch and smell, and might be conveying information that way... so it's not inconceivable that they too think...

Then how they might see us....

Squishy... with a crunchy center....

I haven't seen anything on this for a while, but in the past there were these Mantid aliens that would turn up on occasion, and from what I remember they weren't very nice. These Mantids were made out to be superior to the greys. Mantises do look somewhat intelligent and quite alien as well.

So, we got insect aliens and reptilians to name a couple. Haven't heard anything about any ant aliens, but they're supposed to be relatively intelligent also. It doesn't really seem believable to me though that these insect aliens would be physically suitable for developing the advanced technology they are supposedly using, but who knows.

Wet crab chitin: Has a tensile strength of 19.96 MPa and an elastic modulus of 330 MPa

Get em when they are wet.
