The Banter Cafe
#21
I've been up all day.   It's been a bugger.  I'm in a good mood though, and I'll just sit inna corner next to the juke box with an Irish coffee.    [Image: doh.gif]

Any tune on the juke box catch your eye?

That's an old sweet lol.

Of course!

LOL, I thought of "shoe drop", but yours is better (and a bit more British).

( ... Love the layering-up of motifs in this song).

Mine will be scones with strawberry jam and cream, thanks.

I was delightfully surprised to see Muddy Waters playing Got my Mojo On,  on the jukebox.  (7) Muddy Waters - Got My Mojo Workin' - YouTube

This is a very good jukebox.

We do that in the Cafe, if you're interested?

We don't do American cheese, because it isn't actually cheese....
Yes please. I think I've had it with both cheddar and Stilton maybe.
I have a good Irish cheddar in the fridge. Kerry gold does good cheese

I'll pop in tomorrow morning for an early morning bacon butty and sausage sarnie.
Which may well reignite the Condiment War and also force Carpy to reveal his somewhat freakish breakfast fetish - no mate, I'm not talking about your worrying desire for a certain Labour politician.....I'll leave that behind on ATS, for now.
I believe in this and its been tested by research, he who fucks nuns will later join the church.

Noooooo!

The answer should be "Pear Drop". Detectives, plural = Pair.

They were shaped like pears and would last ages unless you risked losing a tooth.

Ok Ok, I'll go back in the corner to play Space Invaders and sip my Tizer in a can with a soggy paper straw while they heat up my sausage roll.

Ultravox, "Vienna". Cracking stuff. That 'n Gary Numan's "Cars".

I also liked this one "back in the day"...

I am also blessed to be able to buy both Kerrygold cheese and butter, even though I live in a place that is 4,000 miles  plus from the place where it is manufactured.
