Well if they don't think that life can be funny even in its worst aspects, then I don't know what to say. They've got no leg to stand on, being so serious.

I was outside on my porch one day watching my neighbour across the street's chickens pecking for bugs in the dirt of his front yard. They were not having much luck. Then, one of them tempted fate and hopped across the street to peck in the grass on my side of the road. I looked at him and thought "oh, now I know why." That was a good day, it all made sense.

Yeah, we were driving the back country roads a few days ago and three beautiful chickens were in the middle of the road, yeah! We could have had free chicken dinner that night, but we chose to warn them off.
