There was a secret UK simulation exercise conducted in October 0f 2016 codnamed Exercise Cygnus. This involved a ficticious virus H2N2 - [S]wan [F]lu. [25]

This virus emerged in Thailand in June and involved taking people off of ventilators to make room for other people.
