Spooky True Story
#1
Who is up for a true spooky story?

My wife and I just moved into our dream house about two months ago.
The home is 20 years old...having had only two owners before us.

The last owners were a couple of preachers (husband and wife)...so, of course, we weren't completely surprised that practically every major wall had different scripture stenciled on them...along with crosses and numerous other religious items mounted on the walls.

We settled in after the move and started removing all of the biblical passages to get ready for our painters.
It is as if this house was made for us...as well as for all of our furniture.
We love the place...even though it will still need a lot of money and a lot of work.

Everything has been going really well, until a few weeks ago, when my mother passed unexpectedly.

This past week is when things started getting a bit strange.

I was out running some errands earlier this week...and my wife, who was nursing a hurt knee, was sitting on the couch in the living room.

Our dog was sitting on the loveseat across from her...and my wife noticed that the dog kept staring at empty space directly behind her...she looked behind her and saw absolutely nothing but an empty hallway.

The dog kept staring...so she took out her phone and started filming him.
Suddenly, the dog just jumped off the loveseat and ran off while she was still filming.

Cut to me returning home...

My wife says: "You HAVE to see this!"
She hands me the phone and I play the video.

DOG STARING...
DOG SUDDENLY JUMPS OFF THE COUCH...
DOG RUNS OFF...
BUT...

A strange female voice (not my wife's) cuts into the video, loud and clear as day, and says:
"I LOVE YOU, TOO (or TWO)!"

My wife heard absolutely nothing with her ears at the time...It ONLY recorded on the video.
Just before the clear female voice, there is a micro-second of some static/voice saying something unknown in a deeper voice.

Now...days later...early this morning, while I was still pretty much mostly asleep...I heard the exact SAME female voice essentially jump into whatever dream I may or may not have been having...as if from out of nowhere.
The same microburst of deeper static/voice also preceded the female voice.

It said...
"HOW ARE YOU DOING?"

In my dream, I replied:
"er...I'm okay...How are YOU doing?"

The voice responded:
"I FEEL SO ALONE!"

I have a hunch this may have been my mom, who just passed (in another state).
The voice could possibly be hers when she was much younger...but I'm not certain.

It may also be something from the house before we moved in...but, so far, at least...it doesn't appear to be malevolent.

I don't really know what this actually was/is...but if more of the same strangeness occurs, I will report it here.

It's all truth and happened exactly as I said...so believe me or not believe me.
I also have the video with the voice...it's brief...but I prefer not to post it for security reasons.

Thankyou, Jane.

That’s really interesting… Have you tried looking deeper into the history of the house or maybe asking neighbors about it?

It might even explain why the previous owners had all the crosses and scripture up. Maybe that’s what turned the previous owners into such devoted Christians?

So sorry about your mom’s passing...

Thanks, imitator.
Two families owned it prior.
I met the last couple when we purchased the home.
They seemed nice enough. He had a church...and she ran an online ministry (both well known in town).
They said they had to move for health reasons as he had cancer and they wanted to be near family in Texas.

I know nothing of the first couple...other than they had it custom built, were snowbirds who spent most of the year at their other home...and were both alive when they sold it to the people we purchased it from.

The first couple were very well liked by the current neighbors...not so glowing reviews about the last.
Neighbors mentioned nothing about a tragic past for the home.

I am sorry for your loss, and I hope she is at peace.
For everyone's sake I hope that is her spirit paying a visit temporarily , and not something more unbalanced that the preacher may have had hanging around.

Thanks, sahgwa.
Part of me hopes it was mom saying she loved us.

The dream part is what bothers me. I hate thinking she may feel "alone".
Hopefully, that was just a dream and nothing more.
I was concerned that since she passed after surgery, while in a coma in the hospital...that, perhaps, it may have made her spirit feel alone, confused or lost after she died.

It is very possible she is confused or unsure of what to do or where to go.
Even when their path is clear, souls often visit after death.
My dad came by and pulled me out of my body since he knew I loved that stuff, 2 or 3 times after he died.
Then approximately 6 months after his passing, I did not feel him around anymore.

It can't hurt to sit and pray/meditate to her. She will hear you, she is probably still close by.

Many traditions state (if you believe in reincarnation) the soul can be in between incarnations for as short as a few days to as long as 30 to 40 years.

Mom was a highly advanced soul. She was also no stranger to OBEs.

The only other time in my life...when I had a 'walk in' in my normal dream...was right after my dad died.

I was having a perfectly mundane routine dream...and my dad popped in and clearly said the word "JUBILEE"...and then he popped out.
His presence had nothing to do with the current dream in progress.

I still don't know why he said "JUBILEE"...as it isn't a word either of us ever really used.

That's great ! :)
CANCEL YOUR DEBT SON!
HAVE JOY!
If she was no stranger to OBE's and if she died while in a coma, she was already out of body anyway (coma) so sounds like there is most likely no confusion.  Considering if that 'entity' is her.
You can't tell what the male sounding voice is saying?
What is the vibe in the house?
Is it weird/good or heavy/bad ?
