Ask all the ones that have tried to do it legally for decades in your broken immigration system, or the children whose parents were deported to a S. American horror prison.

I know many people from Lebanon, Syria, Ireland,  Mexico even Venezuelan who managed just fine.

It does take a long time though and money.  They don’t even like illegal immigration, it pissed them off that they went through proper channels and others don’t care to or won’t.

I believe you file paperwork in your country of origin and there are fees.  Fees are everywhere btw, in every country.

Go through the process of coming in legally and assimilate into the society. That's all I ask. I don't think we have a broken system; in fact, I think our system is too permissive.

As a parent, if I thought for one second that I could be separated from my child, and I was in a country illegally (which I would never be), I would contact whomever I could to find out the process of returning to my home country, and the flights are paid for and they are being offered money to do so.

I wouldn’t even take the chance of doing anything illegal that would separate me from my child.

Are you aware some countries will shoot you if you try to enter illegally?

Well when undocumented (trying to become legal) immigrants are plucked out of their jobs and/or heading to the courthouse, where did the 'welcoming' spirit go - certainly not to an immigration hearing so they can state their case and get back into the system, when it was the system's failings to begin with.

The US, to me, is broken and sad in many aspects including turning away from or having contempt for religious leaders' who simply quote scripture to remind us or reteach us what always seems to be forgotten.

Crossing the border illegally and then trying to become legal is not the process.....sorry to break it to ya. There is a process that millions have followed without issue, the other millions can do the same and wait their turn. "Jumping the line" will only make it harder and take longer.

Not sure how many times this needs to be said here, specifically to you, but the system is broken because it was flooded with millions of illegals that were let in under Biden that were told "you can come in and we will figure it out later", with no plan to actually "figure it out later".  Millions have been deported by every president for the last 2+ decades, you only have a problem with the process now because of who is currently doing it.....

Our immigration system is just fine.
There are limits on the numbers that can come in for damn good reason.
A country can only assimilate just so many foreigners coming in at a time.
Otherwise the country collapses.

Religious leaders should practice what they preach!

I love God, not a man in a robe who isn’t practicing what he preaches.  Correct me if I’m wrong, where are the housing by the Vatican?

It’s real easy to point fingers when you are NOT carrying the backs of so many!

Those illegal aliens should not be here to begin with.
There is a legal process to follow.
They are lawless line jumpers.
And have no right to be here.
Therefore ... THEY MUST LEAVE.
If they come in legally and don't line jump
then and only then will they be welcomed here.
