Southern California Skywatching Group?
#1
Hey all,

I’ve been thinking about forming a small, regular skywatching group in Southern California. Something grounded and focused on direct experience.

The idea would be occasional monthly meetups in dark or low- light interference locations and UAP hotspots like Catalina Island and Joshua Tree.

Approach-wise, this would be observation first: eyes up, IR cameras, night vision, star charts, flight tracking; logging what’s actually there and reporting back here on DI for the whole gang to analyze and share the information.

If people are interested, we could even do some experiments with CE5-style protocols.

If this resonates with anyone you can reply here or DM me. If there’s enough interest, I’m happy to help coordinate an initial low-key meetup and see where it leads.

My apologies if something like this already exists and I've somehow missed it.

Great idea. I am not anywhere near, but I wish you success and would love to hear of any fruits of this labour :)

We usually don't get aliens around here in the U.P of Michigan in the winter.  They are just too smart to come up here in the winters.

I do know a guy that when he was young, he and his mother watched a train go down the tracks in a little town  up in Houghton county.  He said he and his mother did not tell anyone about this, the neighbors were all sleeping, they were walking home to their house from a friends house...that would have been in the mid sixties.  Trouble is that that track was removed at least five years earlier.  He said he had a soda pop there, and his mother drank coffee...they both saw it from abvout fifty feet away.

Why didn't they tell anyone?  Because they did not want to have people calling them looney.

Did they see an image from the past, is this reality we think is real actually real?  I know that the reality I live in in this world is far from real, it is a creation of beliefs that we have been led to believe are true.  Look at that twenty dollar bill, in reality it is worthless, yet they have made us believe it is worth something.  We are programmed, and I am trying to break that programming without looking like a crazy person.  If you follow the programming that is not actually real, you are considered normal.

I'm originally from the Pittsburgh area so understand about those Michigan winters.  Lake effect snow can be a bitch.

That story about the ghost train is really cool.  My grandfather was a train engineer for Conrail back in the day.  He didn't have any ghost train stories- at least non he cared to share.  But I love hearing about stuff like that, and I agree we probably don't see reality in its true form.  Our brains filter out a lot of stuff for us just so we can function plus there are limits to our physical perception.  We only see a small fraction of the light spectrum and the same with sound.  It would be arrogant and foolish to think what we experience is base reality.

Good luck with continuing to look outside the veil. That's exactly what I'm attempting to do by looking up.
