I had one of those babies!... Well, not exactly, different branding but essentially the same gear.  Very first day, very first "trying it out" spotted a daytime UFO over the area of Grumman's old plant (now called the Calverton Executive Airpark.)  Maybe not shocking to some, but very much so to me...
