in Minnesota, the number of people getting help in assisted living facilities is up, double the growth of other programs. The rate of payment in this assisted living space is 10 to 15 times the growth in other programs. But this assisted living facility puts this all in perspective. It's owned by a man indicted for laundering a million dollars in the Feeding Our Future scam. He's Gandhi Muhammad, now Gandhi Abdi Kadai, and his LLC owns the homes. His wife runs the assisted living facilities and the state is continuing to pay as he awaits his trial.

Well if that is what is happening, and they are carrying a legal amount, then laundering over a hundred million dollars surely would take a lot of trips and a lot of briefcases, surely this would be illegal in some way? 

The law only allows 'hard earned money' that is legally earned to be transported. These funds however ,if you hadn't forgotten, are from FRAUD.  Therefore transporting them out of the country is ILLEGAL.
