SO ARE YOU!! LOL

Takes one to know one!

Thing is, there will always be Americans, but the way you guys are going, you'll eventually run out of Brits.

Math burns.

Let's ask AI!

  • Preference for private education (elite boarding/day schools, prep schools, and selective universities)
  • Socializing in exclusive networks (clubs, societies, and alumni associations)
  • Accent and speech markers that signal status (received/pronounced diction, conservative or “posh” registers)
  • Conservatism in dress (tailored suits, classic brands, understated luxury)
  • Investment in country estates, second homes, or city pied-à-terre
  • Interest in traditional pastimes (equestrian sports, hunting/shooting, polo)
  • Patronage of the arts (opera, classical music, gallery memberships, philanthropy)
  • Reliance on elite media and specialized press (financial papers, highbrow magazines)
  • Preference for private healthcare or premium insurance options
  • Social conservatism or managerial technocracy in politics (emphasis on stability, order, institutional continuity)
  • Networking through exclusive institutions (think tanks, private clubs, policy forums)
  • Emphasis on legacy and family lineage (titles, surnames, genealogies)
  • Taste for fine dining and wine, with membership in selective restaurants and wine societies
  • Investment-focused financial behavior (wealth preservation, trusts, family offices)
  • Hiring domestic staff or using concierge services for time management
  • Travel preferences for privacy and status (private jets, luxury resorts, discrete villas)
  • Use of educational and cultural credentials as social capital (Oxbridge/Ivy, prestigious fellowships)
  • Skepticism toward populist rhetoric; preference for technocratic solutions
  • Philanthropy used for influence (endowments, boards, naming rights)
  • Recruitment from a narrow social pool into senior roles (informal hiring through networks, internships that favor insiders)

Hmm, I can't help but feel it missed something...

You missed the top 3.

Beer, especially with women, generally.

Apparently I’m in cult now, someone here told me so.

I've read multiple stories regarding the guy I was talking about (you know, the subject of this thread) to get as complete a picture as possible.

The house photo was of an associate delivering another demand for payment (from everything I've read).

It's not uncommon for deadbeat losers to try and sic the police on someone they have a dispute with. I know because it's happened to me.

I had nothing to say regarding Bastions post as it wasn't relevant to the discussion at hand, nor did it establish any:

per you.

Just because you've decided to believe the customer is 'deadbeat' doesn't make it correct, or the truth. As I said in my post...

I've been shooting, my Brother has been shooting in America, and more recently (his Birthday) here in the UK at a gun range (firing G36s) and posted all the pics on social media. Never had the police turn up for those.
AS I said and so has Andy. It appears there's more to this.

Quote:On his election, in July 2024, Starmer promised that his Labour government would “tread (stomp?) more lightly” on the lives of voters. It is one of a growing multitude of pledges Starmer has broken during his 17 months in office. In this particular case, it took just two months for Starmer to change course, telling delegates at the 2024 Labour Party Conference that the State would, in fact, take greater control over people’s lives.
In the months that followed, plans were unveiled to, among other things, launch “non-mandatory” digital identity (more on that later); expand the use of live facial recognition technology (ditto); resurrect an old Tory policy to grant inspectors at the Department of Work and Pensions increased powers to snoop on claimants’ bank accounts; and intensify the British State’s crackdown on lawful speech.
That, it turns out, was just for starters. For the main course, the Starmer government is now setting its sights on trial by jury, a legal protection that has existed in England for almost a thousand years and forms one of the bedrocks of democratic legal systems.

You

Guys

Are

Toast.

"Limited trial by jury"??? WTH is wrong with your leaders? Like I mentioned originally, we have ZERO in common now. Matter of fact, I would warn Americans not to travel to your floating gulag.
Why would any sane Americans purposely subject themselves to your countries policies?

You guys need to get off your crumpets and start fighting or you're done.

It appears we're taking a lesson form you guys??

This is the American justice system...
Quote:While the image of a jury is common in media, not every court case involves one. The right to a trial by jury is a principle in the American legal system, but it is not absolute. Whether a jury is present depends on the nature of the case, the potential penalties, and the choices made by the parties involved. Many proceedings are decided by a judge alone, a process that serves a different function in the judicial system.

Who would you have us fight first?

Let me guess starts with an "M" and ends with an "S".

Do you lot not still put poor people in jail for the likes of non-payment of fines, parking tickets, and such?

That could be considered rather draconian in this day of age.

Coming from a nation that incarcerates a substantially larger share of its population.

I think you may find the term "gulag" fits your own nation just as well as our own.

So people in glass houses and all that jazz....

How adulting of you to deflect. Doesn't change the fact that your 'government' is implementing measures and policies that WHOLLY conflict with American foundations, laws, values.

Telling us our house is broken doesn't fix yours and vice versa, but sooner than later, you'll all be too locked down and compliant to even help yourself, much less anyone else.

Hence, 'standing apart' to actually show solidarity. We really shouldn't help or co-sign what you guys are dealing with.

Boycott the UK.
