Everyone's favorite topic. I wonder what glamour is employed by all these shadow entities that everyone ignores them?

It appears to be a common trend with paranormal activity. We see these things and ignore them all the time. My lizard friend Lacerta said something to the effect that there is a block..I forget the details

If you are talking about the entities which are perceived at the corner of your eyes -- most often on the left side -- then yes, I am somewhat familiar.   I believe "they/it" are always there.   There are Southwestern indigenous cultures which believe that our death is always with us, and usually approaches from the left.  In this culture, death isn't an adversary, but a guide.  Hey, don't ask me; apparently that's just the way they roll.  I wish right now I could bring JohnnyAnonymous here.  Remember him?   He knows more about these things than I do.  

I can only say that once I read about them, more than 50 years ago, I could see them.   Prior to that, I suppose, I just wasn't looking, or too stoned to care.

Nothing much to be afraid of;  mostly a friend not yet met.   Either way it will be there at the end.   Better to know than not, imo.

I've had sleep paralysis.  And you do hallucinate when it happens, and in a dark room of low light everything moves like a shadow person. 

I'm sorta with The Why Files dude, had it happen personally, but take the empirical boring explanation. Because interlaced with my experiences were lucid dreams and sleep disorder. 

Only happened in the hours long after I'd take a type of veterinary anesthetic popular at raves and mix it with other substances. There's a cereal with the same name.

Kitty flipping was my only path to experience these shadow folks.

Talking like this about death, nonetheless, for some reason hit me hard. It makes absolute sense and something clicked in me, after reading it.

Death has been with us since the day we were born. She's the last teacher, guide and indeed, a friend that knows us perfectly well, even though we try so hard to ignore her (for some reason I picture death as a female figure).  

You're absolutely right. When you really think about it, there's nothing to be afraid of.
