I also want to understand me. That is what the occult is mostly about. Exploring the limits of consciousness, stepping outside of time, the problem is not becoming Voldemort and sharding your soul into a million pieces. I still have a raven in hell somewhere, masks are usefull...

People confuse occult, with cults and illuminate or whatever..that's just another hydra most of the people actually had terrible lives but still pushed the boundaries, but most folk won't know, who is going to read their stories?

Fear of the devil, things are missed. Some practices are pretty useful.
