A single white male killed the two girls in the Delphi murders. Nothing ever good comes from a male stalking girls with a camera. Do you really think the two girls are a real criminal gang? If they are, then they should be punished by the law. But a dude doesn’t just stalk two girls with a video camera.

I can think of two very pertinent reasons why youngsters, particularly girls, might want to carry defensive weapons around
- They are vulnerable and they know the state will not protect them
- They are too inexperienced to devise effective strategies to protect and defend themselves
When I was in my early teens, 1970's England, my mates and I devised plans for how we could defend ourselves using keys, umbrellas and lit cigarettes.
Blaming these girls for defending themselves and their loved ones feeds the agenda of those who do not want to see women out in public
They are breaking the law.
People can't carry offensive weapons here in the UK.
Children or adults.
And if you wish to see why not perfectly illustrated, look no further than the likes of the Southport Stabbings that took place last year.

Would you let your kid out to hang about parks and streets with an axe and/or kitchen knife?
The mind boggles at anybody who cannot recognise the dangers involved.

The article didn't say who he was. There's a chance he was only filming her because she was armed.
It is also likely though that he wanted to show the film to newcomers in his community in the hope that they could quickly learn to speak the language and navigate and figure out where the jobs are. I believe some religions think sin creates spiritual rapport.

A hatchet and a kitchen knife are weapons? They are just tools to me. They could as easily carry a pipe as a deterrent. Or a bat. Would the UK law see that any differently than a kitchen knife or a hatchet.

Where I was honest about growing up. We tried our hand at knife and axe throwing not understanding it takes balance knives and axes. Then we started carrying around BB guns and a machete. They were just part of growing up. Being adventurous. But looking back, I’m sure our parents had no problem with it and encouraged it since my friend and I played for hours away from home miles in the woods and fields.
Have you actually been to the UK? There isn't many places left "hours away from home miles in the woods or fields." The video shown is nothing like to how your trying to compare it? It's a town or city.
You made assumptions about the whole incident, and decided he was pedo and those young teens were carrying an axe and large kitchen knife for what? Protection? I don't see it myself.

Aye, but they are not in fields playing, they are on the streets maiming and killing one another for sport.

There isn’t many places away from crime either.

It's all about intent. Walking around screaming at people, waving something that could be used to stab or club someone to death, will get a member of the public calling the police.

Is the one in four a false statistic for the UK
https://rapecrisis.org.uk/get-informed/s...-violence/
“71,227 rapes
were recorded by police in 2024.”
Wonder how many rapes go unreported? No wonder there are teenage girl gangs.

So the fact it was a kitchen knife and hatch is actually irrelevant.
