ATS is the acronym of AboveTopSecret.

I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. Please keep away from me.

I can't debunk a ultra fast moving object that does a 180 in the sky when I am looking at it and dissapears into ---nope not clouds-- but...thin air. I would like to know if maybe you have seen anything and you are trying to rationalize what you seen? I'm not being rude but, I could only chalk it up to military experiments as the other option.

I haven't observed anything unidentifiable. As for your insanely magical sighting (it would be in California as well) I defer to Hitchen's razor- "That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence."

Welcome to DI Ripple!

Lots to see and experience here.   If you remember ATS well, you'll remember the T&Cs, and there is a similar version here at DI.   I too am a Skeptic; I take that meaning to be discerning and untrusting of evidence that I deem to be -- by my own measure --to not pass the smell test.   Perhaps it is video that concludes without a logical conclusion.   There are many factors.

You sound like you are wanting to challenge everyone to produce evidence.   I gotta tell you, that's not the way discussion works.    It's not the way science works.   These things happen by group interaction, with the goal of discovery or at least interest.   I don't see any value in "show me".    I see more value it, "let's see what we can collectively find."

I'm personally sorry that you've had no personal experiences in this realm of your thread.   If it ever happens, I hope you come back here and tell us.

Well obviously you are British from your use the word "sceptic" which would be used instead of "skeptic" which is the American word of same meaning. So have you been to the US? If not, a nice trip to the Nevada desert, maybe camping under the stars? Its a start. Arizona seems to be hot with sightings of the "sceptical".

I'll start by stating that the only interest I have in UAP or Ufology is debunking it completely. I used to read the proper forum years ago and always preferred the sceptical threads. There was a contingent of sceptics on the proper forum and I hope some of them made their way here.

Apart from this I look forward to reading and perhaps engaging with topics on this forum.

Thanks

Good evening Ripple, welcome to DI...  I too as a truthseeker search for the truth related to UAP/UFO.  At times it does get challenging staying on pivot with the subject because it seems there is a lot of energy thrown at UFOlogy to distract and cause doubt.  I have however had my own experience which encouraged me to search deeper.  There does appear to be some un-debunked diamonds/truths in the ruff of the many debunkable distractions.  I guess it's up to us, the truthseekers, skeptics and those just overall questioning this reality to debunk as much as possible but at the same time acknowledge at times some activities cannot be debunked and have to be accepted as truth.  Excuse me if I got too deep on the topic.

Here are a couple red pills in this blue pill matrix.

Enjoy your stay here and see you in the boards.

Welcome to the Deny Ignorance community. I understand your scepticism towards alien topics. However, Deny Ignorance offers you a broad range of topics that you might find rewarding to explore.

Deny Ignorance is a place for discussion and debate, with members choosing when and where to engage in those matters. If one outright puts the scepticism horse ahead of the cart every time there is no chance to take onboard points you might not have considered.

That is enough from me. I hope you enjoy your time around the Deny Ignorance forums.

Great to see a skeptic and I can understand why
My question, if you don’t mind?
Do you really think all those with a story are lying?
Personally, I don’t believe in Aliens from another planet, ships from outside the earth, think they were always here, hiding/hidden
Anyway, enjoy no heat from me
