The people who know that aliens have long ago taken control over our weapons of mass destruction are not particularly stressed right now.

I remember the scenario with UAP supposedly disabling missile silos and whatnot, and that thought has occurred to me as well even though they failed to intervene in the past, but with the entire planet at stake or for whatever other reason, hopefully 'something' may be keeping a close eye on this. It's a longshot, but one can only hope.
