How Does Your Garden Grow?
#1
Just wondering how my fellow gardeners around the globe's fruit and veg gardens are getting on?

Think it might be time soon for a Tattie and Onion harvest.

Peas & Tomatoes are still taking the pi#s.

Sunflowers have sprung up fast as lightning.

I have a long garden, 250ft.

Cos I have a bad knee and knackered lower legs due to an embolism I haven't been able to tame it.

Trees appeared from nowhere so it's more of a jungly arboretum.

I have had to get some guys in to clear it.

First third done.

I'd take some photos but it's too bloody hot - 35C - to go out there.
'l'll just check my Giveashitometer....Nope.  Nothing...

Tomatoes do take the pish so not worth it.  Runner beans good so are apples and plums.

Chillis have been good but haven't bothered this year.

Grape vines have gone mad.

Just een chaos this year mate. One thing after another. Works been painful as I age it gets harder, car breaking down, sorting MOT out, her indoors mother going insane banging on the woindows all the time, myne in a home visit another county, jobs at home, hard going, so have got behind with the gardening. Only got the beans in, my grandad always said May the 8th which I always remember as the route from B'ham J8 to Glos M5 for planting so did that on time and they are going well. Runners climbing nicely. No broads this year. No spuddies either, last year planted them but only got marbles back. Farmer said it was too much heat, so gave up this year. Corn on the cobs, pumpkin, carrots, parsnips, brussel sprout all gone in late, had the seeds so thought hey give it a go. Of to hose em all down in a few mins  Thumbup
