That is supposed to be a picture of the "Tombstone Thunderbird". However I looked up the original reporting in the Tombstone Epitaph (April 26, 1890):

...and the dimensions don't match up. Oh no! Could this be some kind of hoax??

Ummmm.  Did that article mention anything about the best way they found to cook that big bird?  Or if it tasted good?  If I shot something like that...I would want to try to cook it.  That thing could feed the whole town.
