Quote:Prince William has revealed that his three children 'love' the 1970s hit sitcom Fawlty Towers.
William told comic star Cleese, 86, who was joined by his wife Jennifer Wade at the Tusk Conservation Awards in London: 'My children have just discovered Fawlty Towers, they literally love it, we've been having a lot of family laughs.'
In a speech delivered at the awards on Wednesday, which honour workers safeguarding Africa's habitat and animals, the Prince of Wales said Louis, George and Charlotte had loved watching the show together.

Must be a British TV show.
I've never heard of it.

Yes it is. It is funny. It is from the late 70s. It has John Cleese. There are only 12 episodes. Worth watching.

Just dont mention the war.

Recently Cleese said the "dont mention the war" episode should no longer be showed.

One might have assumed that Some Mothers Do Have 'em would be more relatable.

I loved Some Mothers Do Have 'em growing up. Frank Spencer always made me laugh.

You have to be British to appreciate Fawlty Towers. There's no point in just taking the odd scene either, you have to watch the whole series.
It's still that popular there is a restaurant in London (President Hotel) where you can go have a meal and actors play the various roles. It's been runnimg for the past 12 years!
A friend of mine went just the other weekend. Starters were served and her's just happened to be different to everyone else's on her table. Transpires the 'chef' had lost his false teeth in the soup!

Shame there were only ever 2 seasons.

Fawlty Towers was 10/10.

"Que?"
