So ahh yes,  lets rush to disclosure that human poo poo is in the iceberg lettuce. Direct from MEXICO.  Really? Well the good ole US of A has pulled back that statement after test results came back negative. Read the above link. Well heres a true story that happened to me. Take it for what its worth as it happened back in the summer of 1991 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. 


So back in the day I was raised on our own private well water in a suburb of Buffalo, New York. Our water was excellent, pure and clean. So when I moved out I continued to drink water from the kitchen faucet. Thats all I ever knew.  

I got a job as an engineer and worked in manufacturing. We rented a Condo back then and I again continued to drink water from the kitchen faucet as thats all I ever knew. Back in the summer of 1991 it was typically hot for that year. Over 100 degrees on a daily basis in the Lehigh Valley. Then I got sick. I had both the vomits and cha chas. So much so I lost over 8 pounds on my 185 pound frame in two days. My wife drove me to the hospital. They put me in the ICU and put me on an IV. I was in for three days and when released the doctor told me this:

Bethlehem, Pennsylvania gets its water from a reservoir in New York State. They have found that when the climate gets hot the parasites that are in bird poop do not die but live on. The birds simply fly over the reservoir and take a dump into the water. The processing faciity cannot kill the parasite also so it goes right from the tap into you or other. 

Ever since that happened I have never drank from the kitchen faucet ever again. We only buy purified water that has been made by REVERSE OSMOSIS

Think about it. Human poop along with the blood and fluids from dead people aka Cadavers go into the public water filtration systems. We then shower, brush your teeth and shower in it. Some of us wash our food with it and some still drink it. Think about that? 

My guess is thatfeces entered the lettuce value stream from irrigation systems. Its hot globally and this SHIT happens.

I am not for Greta but the push should be on to dessicate toilet waste, designate fluids from dead people as BIO WASTE. When one looks the entire world seems to be going crazy at the same time. The common theme is DRINKING WATER and all thats carried through it. Sickening isst it and I havent even touched micro plastics. 

Earth has some serious issues along with DNA altering affects on the species. 

FYI we arent tree huggers but we love our trees, plant many and we recycle all vegetable waste into a smelly cocktail that our plants and trees love.  We also dont pollute as much as we can. Same for old milk and egg shells. 

I know for a fact that human waste can be dessicated. We lived among farmers and one used to allow a septic tank contractor empty his tanks in a field.  By September those piles of sludge had trophy sized potatoes, pumpkins, squash, tomatoes, peppers and more all growing from them. The smell WASNT of poo. It was off but not over the top stench. I used to encounter as we would hunt in September. It looked like a garden of eden.

The use of human waste on farm fields is part of the reason PFAS spread so rapidly, i believe this is also by design.  I would not advise the use of human waste on farm fields due to the incredibly diverse human diet and harm it could cause.   It's the same reason you dont have a garden near your mound septic system.  Domestic dog poop breaks down in an entirely different fashion than a wild wolf's poop, and helps/hurts the ground in which it's disposed on, and its due to their diet alone.

I have been trying to find if potassium permanganate kills this parasite. That is my cheap every day carry sanarizer. Google doesn't help but it does say it is susecptible to oxidisers which potassium permanganate is. Google also says alcohol and chlorene are not very effective.

Does anyone know this?

Isn't it easier to kill it by cooking it with high heat?

No, I have always liked drinking water and it tasted great when I was a kid in the 60s.

Now I have many filters and reverse osmosis, and UV light that kills some of them, but hey, I want to live.

But I've seen cooking videos where they cook or fry the lettuce, fry the shit of that thing.

Well that stuff has been just laying around forever. What you drink has been through at least one dinosaur and many other animals before you get to use it.
