Paranormal temperature drops

This is interesting, the batteries draining. I have been electrocuted by allot of things including mains. Mains suck, tongue goes dead and you can't speak, you stay alert. You just vibrate...don't touch mains! Point being nothing is cold when I encounter electricity. Electricity produce heat not cold or have I got it wrong?

You are exactly right. Energy produces the heat, therefore, when the entity absorbs the energy from the surrounding area, the surrounding area becomes cold, and the entity becomes warm, due to absorbing the energy/heat. With that being said, I will definitely keep my hands away from mains

Just diving into this as usual.  Does anyone have any good theories on what temperature drops is about during paranormal encounters?

One that stands out in isolated instances is that entities draws energy from it's surroundings. But then in other instance the whole environment gets cold or multiple people feels it. An interesting example of this is at the Vatican in the video at around 26min.

I can induce the experience with mediation as a result of body temperature changes and enhanced perception. Some of the experiences that is out there could just be a reaction to danger and cold is perceived.

Entities are not always cold, it's a nice change from tingles and shivers when they come around. It's got nothing to do with good or bad. I encounter cold ones often, they are just curious if you leave them alone. Might flow around you and give you "a hug" and it feels pretty much as you think but harmless and then they go away...anyways, it's not the air/environment, it's them that is cold or very localized.

Nobody knows for sure. 

It could be psychological but that doesn't explain why multiple people may feel it which I've seen happen. It could be a type of group think in a spooky situation I suppose. 

However, thermometers don't lie.

I've recorded a drop of 23 degrees once just walking into a new area with no discernable reason as to why it would occur. When I went back to study it further, when I had the time, it was normal.

The energy from the paranormal activity has to come from somewhere.  So a drop in temperature would be a drop in energy to fuel the activity.  I suppose the energy could be taken from any life form in the area too, including bacteria and other microbes....and of course humans too.

So, got sucked in as a tech guy for a local ghost hunting group many years ago.

mostly it’s boring af.

did experience a few interesting things.

did get a lot of legit evp.

did get a floating bright ball of light on camera.

Cold spots tend to get noticed while ghost hunting so you notice it more. But if you intend to notice while not ghost hunting you can find just as many, I think that one is mostly localized environmental effects from natural systems.

i went in as extreme skeptic. After doing it for a few years my conclusion is there is something there. I think it is more exotic than ghosts though. I think it is parallel universes crossing over/time weak spots/ other exotic science we don’t yet understand.

Knowing this to be a fact makes it worse because batteries are not always drained and the EMI is interference like induction not drain . Maybe different phenomena manifesting? Did you categorize and assign attribute and behaviors to phenomena when you where investigating?

Mostly I was just bored.

got touched once. That was freaky.

had a meter clipped to my arm once get hit and go flying. That was weird. 

Had a shadow walk in front of us (whole team watched it), no person casting the shadow. 

lots of random stuff like that can’t be classified and pinned down. But I think it is tears in reality more than ghosts. If it is ghosts I think that is sad. Be trapped half in this world? Yikes.

But it seems to me more bleed over from other realities. There seem to be spots where the barriers are thinner and things happen. I think science can and will figure this out eventually, there’s just too many people wanting to believe one thing and they often get cookie andd woo-woo about it. It needs addressed by cool heads with better equipment and proper procedures.

but if you do spend months, or years in my case "ghost hunting" you will find spots where phenomenon manifest you don’t see in your day to day life. I just don’t think it’s ghosts.

Could this other reality you are trying to describe actual be a part of this reality, just sitting a bit outside of our ability to sense it? This anomaly can perform an influence we can detect in certain locations and conditions occasionally?

It's not separate, everyone since the dawn of time has tried to describe multiple dimensions/realities and we keep coming up with new words. I'm at the point where whatever someone else wants to call it is fine by me. pianopraze is right too, not disagreeing with him. I am also looking for answers.
