Crazy people do not know they are crazy

When or if they become self aware enough of their behaviors and triggers to realize this, that is the moment they can change it......for better or worse

It could possibly be scaring little kids but the majority of people are having a good time which is why its a popular holiday that is still being carried out WITH GOOD INTENTIONS. Healing isn't always easy, sure, but changing who you are to please others comfortability is an entirely different psychiatric problem from childhood and its not healthy either. It is OK to sympathize and still do you, that is healthy. It is ok to recognize their struggle and wish they aren't struggling. It is NOT OK to change the world on an individuals struggle. That thinking is narcissistic and dare I say possibly schizo-affective in nature. These are not real bodies and to consider them as such WHILE KNOWING that shows a severe break in reality.

I don't think she said she wants to change the world, just not have gory body parts displayed that may trigger PTSD in some people, and not only foreigners from war torn Gaza.

With PTSD just the sight of it brings back their memories of the trauma, real or not.

I don't think it's good intentions to scare little kids or where parents have to reroute their children so they won't be exposed to it. In my day, if I wanted that sort of scary experience I had to pay admission to enter a neighborhood scary house, at my choice. If I didn't want to see it, I had the choice not to see it.

no, she just wants to 'fuck all white people' and 'fuck the west'.
Nothing 'change the world' about that, eh?    Wow

Angry words spoken during being triggered. I agree with her about the gory body parts thing and I can try to understand her position, but not really, because I live in a cushy safe place where I haven't a clue what living in a war zone and witnessing people being blown to pieces looks or feels like.

The reality is that the majority rules and the majority including children have a good time with it and individual strife shouldnt change it. Who are we to impose our problems on others when we shoukdnt have the problem in the first place? The majority of the event is for children. It is good to face ones fear. It is good to be resilient. They should be encouraged to do so. If it were me I would bask in it. They must overcome.

Suggesting that ALL war torn countries peoples have this problem is false. Many people are more resilient than that.

No.  It's who the activist is ... an out of control, ungrateful, entitled bigot.
Blaming it on PTSD doesn't fly.
'Fuck all white people' and 'fuck the west' isn't from PTSD.
It's who she is at the core ... and it's rotten.

Who we are is not the sum of our darkest moment. She is unwell. Her anger is a reflection of her inability to deal with her own trauma. Taking it personally is a reflection of yours. Forgive them, they can't help themselves. If they could, they wouldnt be bursting. Dont let them ruin your good time just give them a smile :)

Her anger is a reflection of her ungratefulness and bigoted hate.
'Fuck all white people' and 'fuck the west' isn't PTSD or 'trauma'.
It's just old fashioned palestinian hate.

Who labelled her an activist? Because she started a gofundme page to help her sister and two children? That's good activism.

Your opinion is noted, but rejected by me.

WTF is fun about this scene?
