Ozzy Osbourne dead at 76
#11
When I was in middle school we used to have music afternoon on Fridays.  I and the other girls were all into The Osmonds and David Cassidy.

one of the boys in my class brought this album that belonged to his older brother and the teacher unwittingly let him play a song from it.  Lol he played War Pigs.

After that I decided to try some music other than Donny Osmond. Sorry Donny  Lol

it’s weird that I was just thinking about that a couple of days ago.

crazy that he did a concert a couple of weeks ago in the UK.  Not sure if they were back in the states or still there.  I haven’t found any reports on where he passed.

The concert was at his birthplace in Birmingham.   I have not yet read where he was when he died.  I would guess at their cozy L.A. mansion, but not certain of that.

Google is saying he died in the UK, but I can't find a MSM source to confirm it.

Edit to add -

I was always more partial to Ronnie James Dio, who has been gone for 15 years now but Ozzy was a legend.

We will never see another era of music like those guys again.

Either that, or it's a weird coincidence.
His last instagram post just hours before he died ...

That’s actually the day of the show I believe, saw the video a couple of weeks ago.
Apparently I’m in cult now, someone here told me so.

And weird I heard War Pigs on Sirius yesterday....some classic rock channel.

I'll take Ozzy Osborne and Neil Young over The Osmonds and the Carpenters any day Lol
