And weird I heard War Pigs on Sirius yesterday....some classic rock channel.

I'll take Ozzy Osborne and Neil Young over The Osmonds and the Carpenters any day

Some day I will hear War Pigs in an elevator, and that will be the day when I truly lose my shit and tear everything up.

ETA:  This post inspired by hearing a muzak version of 'The Wall' about eight years ago.  I wanted to hunt down the sonofabitchenwhore that did that a bitchslap them.

I’m not sure why this was freaking me out so much.  I know his health wasn’t the best but it just seems off.  Seriously WTF!  Who thought when they woke up this morning that Ozzy Osbourne was going to pass away today?  

Im not even a super fan tho I liked a lot of his songs but this is just weird.  

I truly hope he found Jesus.

Even though Ozzy was elderly and had health problems, honestly him dying is somehow more shocking to me than I think any other celebrity death. Even those sudden untimely ones like Anne Heche, Paul Walker or my favorite Warlock Julian Sands.

This is really shocking to me. Ozzy was truly a lyrical and musical genius. There was a lot going on in his mind and he wrote many great songs with meaningful lyrics.

My favorite Ozzy song is Mr. Crowley and I DO turn the volume alllll the way up when it comes on my Playlist but really ALL of his music is very good, even the songs that didn't receive mass airplay or attention.

Just the definition of Rock and Roll! Metal! Whatever you want to call it. He was to rock music what Karen Carpenter was to pop. Just the greatest. Of all time. Nobody even close.
