But that's not exactly Budgie "smuggling", is it? More like blatant trafficking.

Well, I think you've found your Halloween costume, eh?

lol! I am on the hunt for one now!

(laughs heartily)  "blatant trafficking" just won the Internet!!

...and one of my anthro professors really WAS going to wear one as a Halloween costume (no kidding. He did some Strange Things) but we talked him out of it when a grad student picked up his intended ...costume... and said "what a cute little cupcake holder!"

If memory serves, he went as a turnip instead (early "Halloween pumpkins" were purportedly carved turnips.)

It's gourds.  You have to grow your own.

You might get someone to knit or crochet one.

...no... don't look that up, either.  No, really.  Gotta keep this place family friendly or the mods will all whap us with the Salmon Of Social Corrections!

Oh dear god in heaven.

Someone did that for my hubby as a gag gift way back in the day.
How do explain what you are crocheting?  LOL

As for the speedo's?  Meh.   Plenty I don't want to see in bikini's either, especial the thong butt.

We thought we could do better.
We were wrong.

So I think we can all agree that the Speedo as a "performance art" is, umm, questionable.

But, to be serious, I do think there is something, when sunbathing, about getting sunlight on the inner thighs and upper legs. For some reason, it feels good. Perhaps because, in sane people, that skin is usually kept safely under wraps. Maybe it likes to be reminded that it is alive.

I saw a study once, about circadian rhythms and sunlight exposure. We know that staring at bright light can help reset the biological clock. But, the study found that when people live in total darkness, even shining light on the back of the knees only, for a few minutes a day, would also affect their sleep schedule. Imagine that!

Maybe responsible Speedo use, within an enclosed backyard and without the risk of traumatizing children at the beach, can actually be healthy.

Or go visit a nude beach! No speedo needed!

The beads alone tell me that was made with love.

This thread won't end until we decide it ends, will it? If it makes it to the top of the Most Active Threads list, I will in some way feel we have failed. Or succeeded. Or something. I will feel a strange combination of pride and shame. And after all, isn't that what Speedos are all about?

You are funny! I think when aliens start wearing speedos we are in trouble!
