The project aims to lean heavily on AI... with tools like DALL·E and GPT‑5 to accelerate production. Their goals include completing the film in just nine months with a modest budget of under $30 million, and a team of around 30 people.
Human artists will still contribute sketches, and voice actors will bring the characters to life.
I think this is kind of crazy... nine months and $30 million?
Open-source AI can already do this right now... and for free.
Anyone with a laptop and a crazy obsession can make an AI film.
YouTubers already have... Z-tier movie AI nightmares. Just spin, post, and pray. : P
I’ve seen a few... still recovering lol.
I guess OpenAI wants to be recognized as the first...
though, in reality they wouldn't be... lol.
